Before dinner, we went to El Parque del Amor, the Park of Love. Believe it or not, there were lots of people making out at this park. We thought we were meeting Cynthia and my mom there, but they were waiting at her apartment for us to return since they thought we were meeting there before going to the park together. This was one of the many challenges we had operating for a whole week without cell phones!! At least our apartment had a land line, but it didn't do much good since my mom didn't have one, we had no one to call. Oh well, we managed. How did we ever survive without cell phones?!?!

These pictures show some of the beautiful views from our apartment. Cynthia and I ended up going to El Parque del Amor a short while after these pictures were taken. We stayed until dusk and saw the sunset over the Pacific. It was quite a beautiful sight.
