I'm really glad we stayed with Tim & Kryztie. It gave us a chance to get to know Kryztie AND Mina better. Mina is a year (minus 3 days) older than Gabriela. She was so sweet. She shared her toys and even tried sharing her bottle and pacifier with Gabriela. Mina also pet Gabriela. What a gentle cousin!
Another added bonus was that Cynthia got to spend more time with Gabriela. They had to go all the way to South America to meet each other!
Here are a bunch of us together at my mom's place. Andrew loves taking pictures. His Portuguese side of the family always says "Linguisa!" for pictures instead of "cheese". He likes to hold it out until well after the picture has been taken which makes for consistent goofy and adorable grins in all his photos.

We loved the view from our apartment. We watched surfers and paragliders and were just across from a beautiful park along a long stretch of the coast.
We Californios are unaccustomed to the humidity and were a bit cold in the apartment although the temperature did not get below the 60's. Apparently central heating is quite unheard of. I guess we're a bit spoiled. Also I'm not used to my bath towels not drying after 24 hours.
