Lane's parents had been wanting to see the Christmas lights at Gilroy Gardens, and since we have season passes, we jumped on board with the idea, picked a weekend that worked for both our schedules, packed up, came down for the weekend, and it rained like crazy, especially while we were at Gilroy Gardens. We made the most of our trip and had lots of fun, despite the rain.
Some of the rides weren't operating because of the weather, others were going, but they were soaking wet. Gabriela really wanted to go on this hot air balloon ride, so we went for it in good spirits!
We saw a little colored lights show, rode the train a couple times, and we enjoyed hot cocoa and popcorn. But Gabriela's favorite was seeing the REAL Santa at Gilroy Gardens. I think this means she was really impressed with his beard.
She rode this carousel several times in a row and then we called it a night. It was really special for Gabriela to have some extra time with Grandma and Grandpa at Christmas time.
