Disneyland Trip: Day 2

The next morning we were on the shuttle at 7:15 am to arrive at Disneyland for the Magic Morning - early entrance into Fantasy and Tomorrow Lands one hour early.  Gabriela happily awoke at 6 am and we headed straight for the Madderhorn.  It was a good thing too, because the line was outrageous on Friday.  Gabriela did not want to ride a second time, but later on requested that we go back on that ride "with the red eyes". She loved Peter Pan's Flight, Snow White's Scary Adventure (which really was scary for little kids), Pinnochio, Dumbo, the Mad Hatter's Tea Cups, and King Arthur's Carousel. Gabriela gave a thumbs down to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. She didn't care for riding into brick walls, oncoming trains, or riding through the depths of hell.
Easton just enjoyed spending time with Daddy.
Gabriela and Mommy went on the tea cups. She was really excited that we got to pick a pink tea cup.

And then it was the moment Gabriela had been waiting for, checking out Sleeping Beauty's Castle!  Gabriela was so excited to walk through that she practically raced through there.
We met up with Beau and Chaney in the castle.  Gabriela went back with Beau to check it out even more, where they really found Aurora.

 Cousins at Disneyland
Easton would not let us walk past the carousel without letting his wishes be known.  Look how happy he is riding the horsie

Auntie Liss surprised Gabriela with a Cinderella dress that she brought with her. Gabriela was so excited, she wore it the rest of the trip!
Easton and I rode the Dumbo ride. It's nice that babies can go on so many rides.
We went on the Winnie the Pooh ride while Uncle Nate and Auntie Liss took a break.

 Easton loves his Auntie Liss.

Chaney and Gabriela holding hands, waiting in line for Pirates of the Caribbean.  She loved that ride. Although, at one point Gabriela was ducking so low in her seat.  She later told us she didn't want a cannon or gun to shoot her, so she hid from view.  Despite flirting with death, she still gave this ride a thumbs up.
Here we are, ready for take off on Gabriela's favorite ride at Disneyland - Splash Mountain!!  She loved the giant drop.  That's our little daredevil!
Cinderella in front of the princess castle.
As we were walking by, I noticed that there was a short line to meet Belle.
Gabriela: Mommy, is that the real Belle?  Or is it just someone in a costume???
Me:  Uh... What do you think?
Gabriela: I think it's the real Belle, but tell me!  Is that just someone in a costume????
Me: Well, is that what you think the real Belle looks like?
Gabriela: Yes, but MOMMY!!  I need to know!  Please just tell me. Is. That. The. Real. Belle?
Me:  (big sigh - how could I break her heart??) Yes, sweetheart.  The real Belle lives at Disneyland.
Her eyes lit up like you wouldn't believe, and then she gave The Real Belle a giant hug.
Gabriela and I took a turn on Dumbo later that afternoon.

Easton convinced us to go on the carousel again with his darling and urgent pointing.

 We met Pluto.
And checked out some master pumpkin carvers.
We also went on the Jungle Cruise and to the Enchanted Tiki Room.  Easton LOVED the Tiki Room. He danced and danced and did the sign for bird and more and just had the time of his life.

Gabriela went on Splash Mountain again, this time with Daddy.  I tried catching the drop on camera.  Wish the photos were more in focus.  But at least I got them!

Gabriela, Auntie Liss and Lane and I took a ride on the River Boat.

And then it was time for the Parade!!!  We got one of the best spots in the house!
Look at how excited she is, waving at the princesses, hoping they see her.

Easton passed out during the parade.  Poor little guy was so done from all that carousel riding.  Gabriela was thrilled to see all the Disney characters dancing around in the parade.
As soon as the parade was over,  we hurried over to the shuttle to get home and catch dinner.  Gabriela was kind of acting crazy. I was overtired and overstimulated from all that loud parade business - I understand now how this happens to kids!  But as soon as she laid her head down, she was fast asleep.

Another success!
