This little dude turned one last week. Isn't he sweet??
To celebrate Nolan's birthday, we went up to Sacramento, spent the night at Auntie Ann's house and went to the zoo there. After we arrived, we met up with Grandma and Grandpa, Jesse's parents, and Uncle Noal and Auntie Elizabeth.
Easton has been loving on this Grover doll so much lately. He also got lots of Uncle Noal love. When Noal came he held Easton, and Easton gave him the biggest, sweetest hug.
We had great fun at the zoo checking out all the different kitty cats - jaguars, tigers, lions, and snow leopards.
We were bummed that the orangutans were hiding when we arrived, but we got an insider tip from some other visitors at the zoo right before we left that these guys were out to play, so we rushed over to watch for a little while.
After leaving the zoo, we went to the park where we picnicked and enjoyed some happy birthday cupcakes for Mister Nolan.
And then we just played and relaxed out on the grass. The boys crawled around together, Gabriela made mud pies, and the Uncles played frisbee.
Happy Birthday, Nolan. Thanks for inviting us to help celebrate your special day.

We moved on Reese's first birthday and brought home a baby on her 2nd. We were traveling on Q's first birthday and I was puking on her 2nd. I think Corbin was the first baby we did the actual 1st bday cake for. 3rd time's a charm, right?! I love a good family get together, and grover get togethers never lack fun. Looks like a good time! Happy Birthday Nolan!
