Thanksgiving with the Clowers

We weren't really sure how Thanksgiving was going to go down.  We weren't sure when Easton would arrive, or how happy or fussy of a baby he would be, how I would be recovering, or anything, so we told everyone we couldn't commit.  The idea of making an hour plus drive with a newborn and 3 1/2 year old, and then shuffling them back and forth between two houses over the weekend was a little overwhelming for me.
BUT, thankfully Easton is a totally mellow baby.  We made the drive without even stopping once!  Both kids were so good over the holiday, despite the late nights and back and forth business across town.
We are grateful that everything worked out well and we got to spend this holiday with both our families (and enjoy two delicious meals).
Easton wanted to wish you a very happy belated Thanksgiving.  Here he is modeling his super over-the-top yet totally cute turkey hat that Auntie Kristie made.

Caetlin loves her cousin so much.  Every time she saw him, she'd extend her arms and say, "please I hold my baby cousin??"  She loves snuggling with him and can't get enough Easton time.
 Papa and Gabriela.
Really, this is a cute picture when blogger actually saves your pictures rotated the correct way.
Everyone got extra snuggle time with Easton.  Caetlin gave him this Christmas bear to cuddle with. Isn't she sweet?
 Big cousin fun.
Andrew, Mina, Caetlin, and Gabriela ran around the house playing games and chasing each other all afternoon.  They had a blast.
Easton rested all day.  This can't even be blamed on turkey coma.  We sure love this little man.
Auntie Theresa was so happy to finally meet Easton.
The kids table.  I love how Mina is wearing her beauty rest eye mask. Check out Caeti's dress. I sewed it.  The kids loved the cranberry relish best. Gabriela helped Nana make it.  What a great little helper.
