A couple weeks ago I got a text from Lane saying David might be coming to spend the night. He had all these crazy travel plans, but canceled them so he could just go home. While it was unfortunate he couldn't get a flight to Phoenix that night, it worked in our favor because he flew to SFO instead and spent the night. Us grown ups stayed up late catching up. The next morning, Uncle David had kiddo time, we dropped Gabriela off for preschool, and then David and I caught up over a yummy breakfast before dropping him off again. It was a whirlwind less than 24 hr visit, but we are glad he stopped in. Miss you, bro!
