Beau turned eight. EIGHT! He was five when we moved here, and that seems like just yesterday. He celebrated the momentous occasion with a ninja party. Gabriela carefully chose her ninja party ensemble. You know, a purple butterfly shirt with a tutu and silver sparkle shoes. What else would one wear to a ninja party, really?
In true Meliss fashion, the ninja details were superb. She baked fancy ninjabread men cookies.
And prepared ninja nigiri sushi out of rice krispie treats, fruit roll ups and swedish fish. There were ninja swords, all sorts of yummy japanese treats, ninja stars, and paper lanterns.
Here is the birthday boy, himself. We have loved watching you grow up, Beau. Happy, Happy Birthday!
