Gabriela has been going to preschool on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for the last year and her last day was May 31st. Probably the best part about preschool is having a regular time for Gabriela to play with some of the same sweet kids every week.
Here is the fancy hairdo she rocked for her last day.
This is where she would do her calendar and song and story time. Gabriela liked to sit on the star - where Washington D.C. is, so she could sit on the city where she was born.
Each kid had their name called and the got up to receive their certificate and class photo.
Here she is, checking out what Miss Dana gave her.
The grand reveal!
What an exciting day for my big girl! She has grown so much in the last year. She was most excited about the ice cream party in class afterwards, and is still telling people we don't even know about the day she had ice cream at her school.
That afternoon I suggested that we go have lunch at a restaurant to celebrate her special day. Gabriela quickly agreed and informed me that she wanted to go to the restaurant that was two doors down from our house so she could have miso soup and "those rolls". This girl knows what she likes.
We are so happy that Gabriela has had some play dates with her school friends already this summer, and we hope it continues!
