A Pedal Bike!

Gabriela has been doing so well on her Skuut bike for the past year.  We've been wondering how she might do on a pedal bike, as she likes to call them.  Beau and Chaney had an old two wheeler bike that is just her size, so we brought it home, just to see what would happen.

So, last week Lane came home early from work one night for a special bike lesson date with Gabriela.  She got on her pedal bike, he gave her a big push, and just like that, she coasted quite a long distance, not even wobbling once!  It was totally awesome because she wasn't even nervous.

Lane has been working with her on how to stop and start and use the brakes.  We are super fans of the Skuut bike.  It totally worked!

Here she is, riding around on the blacktop all on her own.  We need to make an effort to practice every day, but she is certainly off to a great start!  Our little three year old on a pedal bike!!
