Pretending with Gabriela

If Gabriela is ready for school early, I take her to play on the playground before the day starts.

This morning, as usual, she wanted to play restaurant.

Her restaurant is called "Caliseña's"

When I asked what she cooked at her restaurant, her immediate reply was tamales...with beans and cheese and meat and sauce.  When I ordered two, she went upstairs to get her granddaughter (who is also named Caliseña), and promptly brought me my tamales.

And the bill. Three hundred dollars for two tamales.
