Thanksgiving

We headed down to Gilroy for Thanksgiving this year. It was quite the gathering.  All of Lane's family was there, including Grandma Chaney.  For those of you who don't know, that's 2 parents, 1 super cute grandma, 5 kids plus their partners, and seven grandchildren.  Adrienne's brother also joined us.  Wow.

Gabriela couldn't wait to see Claire and Natalie. Auntie Ann helped them get started with the fun by getting a puzzle out for them to do together. They colored also, ran around the house, and just played. Claire and Natalie took care of Gabriela, as usual. And, as usual, I hardly saw my baby girl over the trip because she was too busy having cousin fun with the big kids.
I think they are doing spider man hands?
Gabriela was so sweet.  She made sure she picked out a dress Grandma gave her so she could see Gabriela dressed in it. And then, she went up to Grandma and asked if she could please help her make rolls.  I think Grandma's heart melted right then and there.
Natalie and Claire soon joined in on the roll making fun.

So, this is where things got a little silly.  What else are you supposed to do with all that extra flour???
Gabriela tried it out as soon as she saw Natalie's face.

 It was so much fun.

Gabriela totally and completely freaked out when she got flour in her eyes.  Don't worry. While Lane took pictures I rushed to help her. We didn't both just watch her in hysterics.  It was pretty funny though.

Here's where half of us sat.
Ian, the roll rationer.  He doesn't mess around and sees to it that no roll gets wasted.

Here's Grandpa with two of his smallest grandkids.
Thanksgiving was some good Grover time.
