You might be thinking, what they heck?!? Didn't we just come back from California?? The answer is yes. But we decided to MOVE BACK when our lease expires ... on May 15th. What can I say, except we are ready for our next adventure in life.
We've been talking about what it might take for me to stay home with Gabriela (instead of paying $18,000 a year in daycare), and then our landlord said he wanted to move back into his condo, and then Nate & Meliss graciously offered to let us stay with them until we got on our feet, and all the puzzle pieces just fell together. Seeing Gabriela's excitement being around her cousins and family was just the icing on the cake.
So we don't know how we're getting across the country yet, we have a bazillion things to figure out, tons of work to get done at home and the office. Today Lane and I both gave our work the shocking notice that we were leaving, we informed the daycare of Gabriela's last day, and in the next 30 days we have a lot more to figure out. We know it will all come together and that we're doing the right thing. It just feels right. We'll miss DC and our fabulous friends, but we are looking forward to this next adventure and being close to our family again.

Congratulations! That is exciting news. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help...packing, babysitting, etc.
YAY!!!! Can't wait to meet your little Gabbie in person when you guys move back! What part of Cali are you moving back to? The bay area? Gilroy?
I know things are going to be crazy, but we are looking forward to having you all closer. If you want or need you can send that little girl out here while you move. Auntie wants to help.
