The weekend had an early start - on Thursday I had a lovely dinner with my dear friend Katie who I haven't seen in ages. We feasted on Thai food and caught up on each other's happenings like girls do. Later that night Lane and I went downstairs to celebrate Sean's birthday by eating some delicious chocolate decadence cake. And thank goodness for Thursday, because the rest of the weekend was not so eventful.
While we had plans to meet up with Dan & Julia on Friday night for Jaleo, I sissied out and stayed home sinc eI wasn't feeling well. Instead Lane and Dan went and got kicked out of a bar. Lane thought it was a good idea to bring his own beer to the bar. The bartender didn't agree and the night ended early for those fellows.
We watched some episodes of 24, did some grocery shopping, and went a little crazy buying a pepper mill at Costco that is like 3 feet tall. Not much else due to yours truly feeling crappy all weekend. ah, well. There's always next weekend.
